Pet tech innovators Maven have just announced a new partnership with Covetrus, a global leader in animal-health technology and services. The agreement focuses on pet data sharing and represents a new source of valuable information for Maven’s AI-Vet™ platform.

What will this partnership bring to the table?
With this partnership, Maven will have access to the information collected by Covetrus. All the pet data stored on their Practice Management Softwares – used by tens of housands of clinics worldwide – will be integrated with Maven’s own.
This represents another major step for Maven’s AI-Vet™ platform. A new source of data for the AI to analyze, allowing it to become more and more capable and robust as it effectively covers more use cases… And in the end, helps vets provide better care.
With this new data source, Maven will have access to the patients’ complete clinical information. Medical records, medical history, any previously diagnosed conditions or issues, lab and test results, and more.
Summing up – provided the clinic already uses Covetrus, everything they know about the animal, Maven’s AI-Vet™ will know too.
How exactly will this benefit Maven users?
By having access to a pet’s previous clinical information, Maven’s AI-Vet™ will integrate the relevant data from the animal’s history. It will then cross-reference it with the activity data newly collected by the Maven devices. Any possible symptoms that the pet parent logs via the app (through the Journal tool or Health Check-ups) will also be considered.
This combination refines the data at AI-Vet™’s disposal. It allows the platform to give the most informed and accurate alerts possible regarding the animals that use Maven’s service.
